These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the provision of tiffin (lunch) services by THE MOTHER SERVICE (“The Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to students, faculty, and staff (“User,” “you,” or “your”) at the participating school organization (“The School”). By subscribing to, ordering from, or otherwise using The Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. Service Description and Ordering

1.1 Tiffin Menu and Availability

  • The Service will provide school lunches as per the published menu plan for the respective academic period.
  • Menus are subject to change without prior notice based on ingredient availability, operational necessity, or School requirements.

1.2 Ordering and Subscription

2. Payments, Cancellation, and Refunds

2.1 Pricing and Payment

2.2 Cancellation and Refund Policy

If the closure is announced after the Cut-Off Time, The Service reserves the right to charge for the meal.

3. Delivery and Pick-Up

3.1 Delivery Point

  • Tiffins will be delivered to a single, designated, secure location within The School premises (e.g., the cafeteria, administrative office, or a specific drop-off zone).
  • The Service is not responsible for delivering tiffins directly to individual classrooms or students.

3.2 Collection Responsibility

  • It is the sole responsibility of The School, the User, or the User’s representative to collect the tiffin from the designated delivery point.
  • The School’s policies regarding tiffin collection and distribution must be followed by all Users.

3.3 Missed Collection

  • The Service is not responsible for any issues (e.g., spoilage, theft, damage) that arise from a tiffin not being collected promptly from the designated delivery point. No refunds will be given for tiffins not collected by the User.

4. Food Safety and Allergens

4.1 Allergens and Dietary Restrictions

  • It is the User’s sole responsibility to inform The Service of any and all severe food allergies or dietary restrictions during the subscription/ordering process.
  • While The Service takes reasonable precautions, our kitchen handles various ingredients, and we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment.
  • Users with life-threatening allergies are strongly advised to consult with a medical professional and exercise caution. By using The Service, the User assumes all risks associated with food consumption.

4.2 Food Quality

  • The Service commits to preparing and delivering food in compliance with all applicable local food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Any complaints regarding food quality or spoilage must be reported to The Service immediately upon collection, and no later than [Insert Time, e.g., 1 hour] after the designated delivery time.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • THE MOTHER SERVICE shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use The Service, including, but not limited to:

    • Loss, theft, or damage of the tiffin container or its contents after delivery to the designated School location.

6.1 Modification of Terms

  • THE MOTHER SERVICE reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
